Character:
白色结晶,溶液为无色或淡黄色液体。有不愉快气味。有强的吸湿性。暴露于空气中短时间即能吸潮变成浆状。除了一些不锈钢合金外,能侵蚀大多数基底金属。易溶于水,其稀溶液为无色液体,浓溶液为黄色浆状液体,微溶于乙醇、乙醚 , 不溶于脂类、芳香类溶剂。最小致死量(大鼠,肌肉)25mg/kg。有腐蚀性。
