Character：
黑灰色金属，有延展性。钽的化学性质特别稳定，常温下除氢氟酸外不受其它无机酸碱的侵蚀；高温下能溶于浓硫酸、浓磷酸和强碱溶液中；金属钽在氧气流中强烈灼烧可得五氧化二钽；常温下能与氟反应；高温下能与氯、硫、氮、碳等单质直接化合。
