【产品介绍】The 32kDa dopamine a n d cyclic 
adenosine 3'',5''-monophosphate-regulated 
phosphoprotein (DARPP-32) can either function as 
a serine/threonine kinase o r as a serine/
threonine phosphatase depending upon which particular 
amino acid residue is phosph o r ylated (1). When phosph 
o r ylated by protein kinase A (PKA) at threonine 
34, DARPP-32 becomes a potent inhibit o r of 
protein phosphatase-1 (2-3). Alternatively, when phosph 
o r ylated at threonine 75 by cyclin-dependent 
kinase 5(Cdk5), DARPP-32 is converted into an inhibit o r 
of PKA (1). DARPP-32 a n d t r u n c a t e d DARPP 
(t-DARPP) are overexpressed in gastric cancers (4).
